The French American Innovation Day is organized yearly in Boston by the Office for Science and Technology of the French Embassy

THE EVENT’S GOAL IS TWOFOLD :

• Promote Research and Innovation in areas where our two countries share a competitive advantage
• Foster French-American cooperation between laboratories and companies

This year, the event will focus on GENE THERAPY, its scientific issues, clinical aspects, industrial applications and media perception.

Some of the leading French and American scientists will present scientific breakthroughs that might lead to new pharmaceutical drugs, tools and therapies. Fast growing start-up firms will explain how to adapt basic research and R&D to tackle this challenge and to become major players in this field. Finally, scientific journalists will discuss out the media perception of gene therapy.

Networking opportunities will be offered during this day to the participants to meet new partners in laboratories and industrial firms.
